Every child is unique in their own way. Each one does what he is inclined to do and what he thinks is good. They are indeed adorable and very much the joy of people around them. But there are times when children become quite irritating and hard to manage. For the most part, this attitude persists in them, however, there are children who really bear these disorders persistently.

Children are being molded during the delicate ages of three to five. During this phase, they are undergoing the process of building up their own personality which is very crucial for adulthood. Add to this, the many things they see and experience. The brain of a child is very much thirsty for information. Everything that gets past them mean something to them. Since they did not develop the right attitude when little, they carry it until they grow old. With it, they are most likely unable to do fruitful things and become incompetent and unsociable for the most part. They will find things difficult to deal with.

That is why it is important that this disorder be addressed as soon as possible, and in the foundation stage. That is because it is in the foundation phase that the personality is developed. This developed personality is what persists through adulthood, that is why it is best to take action is this phase. There are a number of treatments which can be afforded for this, and the parents are the most needed.

Although this disorder is incurable, it can be treated. Medication is one helpful way, but behavioral therapy and parental support and education are vital. This is because the disorder is psychological. Therefore, the treatment should also target the psychological factors.

Medication can provide a neutralizing effect to the parts of the brain which are affected by ADHD. But it is the behavioral therapy that really trains and corrects the deficiencies. On the other hand, the support of the parents and their follow up strengthens the therapy. With this, it the disorder could be remedied.
