Awards and some other trophies are awarded to the personalities and individuals who have played major roles on helping communities regardless of who or what they are. Most of the awardees involved some public figures, entertainment personalities, business leaders and philanthropists. The first chairman created it on 1982 and a renown US Ambassador. There are leaders who have made good roles on improving the group.
The group support a lot of causes that mostly focused on helping the community. It was in this year, however, that the focus of the president is about Child Resiliency Programs. Since child related issues cause a serious plague to the family and community, a lot of volunteers are trying hard to protect the welfare and the safety of the kids as they slowly grow up.
Because of this program, the efficiency and performance of some students have effectively developed, especially on some school activities. Helping the children at first would help them make good choices and prevent committing harmful acts. With that being said, their performances would be effective, be it in school or in their home.
