Keep Your Clients Happy With AC At Your Spa Or Salon

By Pete Demuth

I run a small company in Tempe, Arizona. Over the past couple of summer seasons, I have actually observed that my staff members get fatigued any time we have a warm front. I had been depending on portable air conditioners to try to cool down their cubicles, however they weren't working well. So last summer season, I swallowed the pill and invested in central air conditioning for my entire workplace. Though it cost quite a bit, and the set up required a week or so, it was among the smartest choices I might've ever made. Not only is the office cooler, but everybody appears happier and is working harder than ever before.

A central air conditioner carries out the principle of heat energy transfer. It removes the heat from your office space by pushing it through a cooling agent to cool it down. Central air conditioners have two parts. The condenser is placed outside, while the fan is installed on your wall or ceiling. The good news is that the loudest component of the machine (the condenser unit) lies outside. This means that your AC will be quiet.

I could not be happier with how the central air conditioner performs. We set the thermostat to 72 and within 15 to 20 minutes, the entire workplace is cool.

Right before you invest in a new central air conditioner, you need to think about these points:

1) Choose a system that is well-suited for the climate where you live. If you live in an especially humid part of the nation, you'll require a more powerful central air conditioner.

2) Do thorough calculations of how many BTUs you will need to keep your business place cool.

3) To save money and spare the natural environment, look for an energy efficiency rating (SEER) of 12 or greater.

4) If you currently have a main heating unit set up, you can probably get the air conditioning unit hooked up to the very same ducts. This can save you a great deal of cash on installation costs.

5) Do some online research to find a good contractor to put in your central air conditioner. This is not a Do It Yourself job, and needs somebody who actually knows what they're doing.
